ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS: DR. BLESSED UDO-EKPO FOUNDATION HONOURS AKSU BEST GRADUANDS IN SUPPORT OF THE ARISE AGENDA.

At the Convocation Ceremony of the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Ikot Akpaden, held on Saturday, 25th April 2026, the Dr. Blessed Udo-Ekpo Foundation (BUEF) once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and youth development. In a remarkable gesture, the Foundation honoured three Best Graduating Students from the Department of Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Sets with the Foundation’s Awards for aacademic Excellence (AEC).
The distinguished awardees were Miss Happiness Ekwere Bassey, Miss Edidiong Peter Enefiok and Miss Patience Morgan Ndarake who came out tops as the Best Graduating Students in the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Sets respectively. Their sterling achievements stand as a testament to hard work and dedication.
Instituted in 2023, the Dr. Blessed Udo-Ekpo Foundation’s Academic Excellence Award for the Best Graduating Students from the Deparrment of Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering was set up to promote academic excellence and support the Governor’s ARISE AGENDA,.
The far-reaching impacts of the Dr. Blessed Udo-Ekpo Foundation have resonated across communities and different sectors. Founded in 2005 and envisioned to improve the well-being of underprivileged individuals and communities, the Foundation continues to bridge the gap for those in need through sustainable human capacity development.
While Dr. Udo-Ekpo has always sought to serve quietly, the impact of his work continues to speak volumes. The Foundation’s humanitarian efforts cover healthcare, education, commumity development and sustainable human capaciyy building.
